Introduction

When the foundation of the Rehman Medical Institute was being laid in 1991, it was meant to be much more than just a hospital; the objective was to usher a new era in the field of healthcare and education in this region. The first step in this direction was taken in 2002 when the Rehman Medical Institute opened its doors to the public. By the Grace of Allah, having established its name as a premier healthcare institute in the region, work soon commenced on the development of the other constituents of the Institute. In 2008, the RMI-School of Nursing enrolled its first batch, thus venturing into the education sector. After extensive planning and years of development, RMI looks forward to add another name to its growing portfolio in 2010, the Rehman Medical College.

Mission

Rehman Medical College is a part of the Rehman Medical Institute-Peshawar, which commenced operations in 2002 and shares its mission of providing education and training to health professionals while inculcating in them the ethics and values of professional modes of practice.

Registration of RMC with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and other regulatory bodies is in progress.
